How Foundry Empowered Over 170 Local Businesses in Nigeria.

--

When it comes to empowering businesses for sustainability and profitability, Foundry has got this mission on lock.

Earlier this year, Foundry, an initiative of the Nest, equipped 55 resourceful entrepreneurs during the SME Bootcamp 3.0. It was such a huge success that the participants took it upon themselves to publicize the next bootcamp. It is safe to say that some of the participants for SME 4.0 were ready to apply right after SME 3.0 in March.

In May, Foundry called for applications for the SME 4.0. The Foundry team was set to empower a new set of local businesses to scale and position them for sustainable growth for the second time in 2022 .

It is in the details, right? The Foundry team was bent on putting their best foot forward with the 2-week intensive training program. As expected, they over delivered as it is evident in the feedback received at the end of the training.

119 entrepreneurs participated in the concluded SME4.0 bootcamp and they have these to say:

Generally, the SME Bootcamp was a concise event that opened me up to the fact that entrepreneurship is a seamless way of building an SME when one applies all the best practice templates as taught during the Bootcamp. I now believe I can scale up my business confidently. The experience was on two-edged level, giving. me the rare opportunity of learning business skills at no charge and meeting great Mentors. I appreciate this great opportunity; it’s a lifetime opportunity!
